We are looking for someone who can field walk work, step out jobs and assist our internal planners with backlog management.

The planning position is non-craft specific.

We need workers who have a background or comfort level in general refinery maintenance activities.

Strong communication skills and a background in Refinery Maintenance needed.

If candidate has specific craft background, we can review them for the potential to broaden their skillsets.

The planner support role will go on a field walk and look at work in terms of required resources/materials required to complete work. Must be willing to focus on job walks.

SAP skills are preferred.

Good communication skills adequate to convey work plans to a planner for SAP entry.

Basic proficiencies in Excel and Basic Office Software is preferred (in addition to SAP).

Mechanical/Piping Construction Coordinator

Roberts companies has a long term contract at a local refinery for a seasoned Mechanical/Piping Construction Coordinator.  Work is to be completed by end of 2018. However those that prove to be exceptional performers will most likely be asked to stay indefinitely.

Duties:

Coordinate and lead mechanical and process piping fabrication and installation work in support of the capital construction program in an operating oil refinery. The Mechanical/Piping Coordinator will report directly to the facility owner Construction Manager.

The primary function of this position is to lead individual small and medium capital projects with duties including:

  • Managing project safety
  • Working with Project Engineers to define or clarify work scope,

  • Job costing with contractor,
