Instrumentation Coordinator

Roberts Companies has an immediate opening for a Loop check coordinator.This is a one year contract at the local refinery. The Loop Check Coordinator will work closely with the Engineering Lead-Instrumentation and Refinery Instrument Technicians to provide accurate status of loop checks and work closely with construction contract resources and project engineers to ensure all documentation is approved to begin loop checks. Loop Check Coordinator will drive loop check completion to support schedule.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Effectively champion and steward project safety
  • Provide single point of accountability and coordination for loop check status
  • Identify any issues preventing loop check completion, i.e. incomplete loop check procedure forms, field issues as reported by refinery instrument technicians

B. Laboratory Duties

Mechanical Engineer

Roberts Companies has a great opportunity for a 5 year experienced Mechanical engineer to work at refinery in Belle Chasse LA. on one year contract.  This is a great stepping stone for gaining experience in refinery environment.

 

The Mechanical Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager (PM) and provide technical expertise and leadership in the development of refinery fired heater revamp projects ranging from $5MM to $55MM.

This position will work closely with other contract engineering firms, owner discipline engineering  experts. inspection, operations and maintenance teams.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of multi-discipline engineering teams in meeting project objectives.
  • Main responsibility will be for multiple Fired Heater Revamp and Repair projects.
  • Action resolution; facilitate and provide mechanical engineering expertise.
  • Effectively facilitate, champion and coordinate operations, maintenance and turnaround team’s involvement to ensure project operability and maintainability.

This will be a long term contract position.

Requirements:

10+ years experience for senior position, well versed in use of CADD for drawings and knowledge of regulations required to meet in design for this industry
